Why Can’t We Focus?

8. Lack of Exercise: Physical activity boosts brain function. Incorporate a heart-racing activity into your routine – whether it’s a brisk walk, dancing, or any exercise you enjoy.
9. Hunger and Poor Diet: Hunger pangs can be distracting. Maintain a balanced diet rich in whole foods and protein, and stay hydrated.
10. Distractions: The modern world is full of them, especially devices and notifications. Set boundaries and take control of your technology.
11. Ambient Noise: Unexpected sounds like sirens or a neighbor’s dog barking can disrupt concentration. While you can’t always prevent them, be aware of how they affect you.
