The statement, “You will create the conditions you talk about,” was made during the 2022 10X Growth Con, although I can’t remember who said it. Nevertheless, the idea is worth capturing!

To materialize your dreams and goals in life, you need to do more than think about them. You need to talk about them and talk about them a lot to anyone and everyone.

As an evangelical Christian, I don’t believe in karma or the secret, but dreams and goals don’t just happen on their own. Yes, you need to want them and be willing to put in the work, but you also need to get these ideas out of your head and into the world by talking about them.

For instance, one of my dreams is to own a private jet, even though it may take a couple of years to achieve. But that doesn’t discourage me at all. I talk to everyone about how I will own a private jet someday. I also aspire to become a billionaire, which would help with the plane.

Why do I want these things? What’s the significance? Having lots of money gives me choices and the ability to help many people, starting with my parents, especially my father, who lost my mother to Alzheimer’s in June 2022.

So, what’s on your mind? What do you want? Don’t keep it all inside your head. Talk about it extensively with everyone you can. Speaking about your dreams and goals doesn’t guarantee they will come true. Still, it reminds you that you truly desire them and are committed to making them happen.

But here’s a word of caution. As you start sharing your big goals and dreams, some people may mock you or call you a dreamer. When this happens, take it as a sign that your goals are big enough! On the other hand, if no one criticizes your dreams, they may not be big enough. Dream bigger!

So, let’s remember the quote again: “You will create the conditions you talk about.” Please write it down somewhere you can see it every day as a reminder to keep talking about your dreams and goals and take action to make them a reality.
